The Suurpea field near Loksa is one of the finest natural airsoft environments in Northern Europe. Mixed woodland, open ground, natural cover, and varied terrain make every operation unique. This is where Opium Skies happens — and no other location could do it justice.
Located approximately one hour north of Tallinn, Suurpea combines accessibility with genuine wilderness immersion. Participants arrive at the tree line, not a parking lot.

Mil-Sim: Airsoft at its Most Intense
Military simulation airsoft — mil-sim — operates under a different set of expectations than casual skirmish play. Equipment standards are higher. Rules of engagement are more detailed. Scenarios have narrative continuity. Players are expected to maintain their faction role throughout the event.
The result is an experience that casual airsoft simply cannot replicate: genuine tension, real stakes, and moments that stay with participants for years after the event.

Opium Skies happens once a year — typically in July — and participant numbers are strictly limited. This is a deliberate choice: a smaller, committed participant group produces a richer, more cohesive scenario experience than a mass-participation event ever could.
